
Jeremy Tan

Jeremy read law at Cardiff University and subsequently obtained a master’s degree in law at Swansea University. As a holder of the Certificate of Legal Practice, Jeremy was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 26th February 2016.
Jeremy is adept at litigation matters, conveyancing (property law), family law (law on divorce), estate planning (wills and trusts), probate and letter of administration. Furthermore, Jeremy has provided practical solutions on contracts and agreements amounting to millions of ringgit.
In civil litigation, Jeremy has handled first instance and appellate matters representing clients on land and property disputes to contractual claims. Further, he was involved in a number of criminal cases defending clients in custom offences, offences against persons and property and also drug related offences.
Jeremy is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Estate Planners (MIEP) and is active in serving and giving back to the local community. He is the legal advisor of several associations including the Eng Choon (Rawang) Association, Hokkien (Rawang) Association. In his free time, if he isn’t hiking in the heart of nature, Jeremy would be public speaking with Toastmasters. Jeremy also served as the president of his local Toastmasters club.
Jeremy’s other interests include meditation, and reading philosophy where he obtained both licentiate and professional master’s degrees in philosophy at Jean Moulin University, Lyon III, France.
